“A new chapter in the CybersKapes saga….Volume 2 was completed as Spring slid into Summer in the year of 2023.”

Released for August 2023’s Bandcamp Friday on TLPD’s Bandcamp, this is a homemade CDR with a black and white cover.  It contains 40 minutes of new material plus ‘The Extra Mile’ and both parts of ‘ The Space Station Chapel’. Limited edition of 59.

The tracks on CybersKapes 2 are also part of CybersKapes Revisited (released on EK’s Bandcamp), and cybersKapes Deluxe (released on TLPD’s Bandcamp), which includes the first cybersKapes CD from  2015.

CybersKapes Deluxe is a physical CD/CDR product limited edition of 81 copies, whereas CybersKapes Revisited is a digital download.

Bandcamp Friday- August 2023

Today is Bandcamp Friday and I’m happy to unleash ‘CybersKapes 2’ which was the project I was working on when my health emergency occurred. It’s a sister disc to ‘cybersKapes’ which was released on CD a few years ago, and there are two editions available.

There’s a two disc version combining the original ‘cybersKapes’ CD (I found a spindle of 81 copies) combined with a CDR containing 40 minutes of new material plus non-CD tracks from the original release.

For all who own the original ‘cybersKapes’, Volume 2 is also released as a standalone CDR edition.

Also back in stock are a number of vinyl copies of ‘The Concrete Diaries’ in all colours too!

Edward has been in the process of adding several of his solo works to his own Bandcamp page.  They include a digital remaster of Chyekk China Doll and some limited edition CD-R reissues including An Abandoned Laboratory-  volumes 1 and 2.  Please check his page over the next few weeks to find more.

Edward Ka-Spel ‘Tales from the Trenches’ LP Pre-order

Upcoming on Lumberton Trading Company is a new limited edition LP from Edward Ka-Spel called ‘Tales from the Trenches’. Representing the second solo release from Edward on the label, it comprises eight compositions of a starkly personal nature themselves drawing from a range of sources themselves shaped into something entirely his own. This LP is at the plant now. I hope we will see test pressings in September/October. These things always take a while, but you can guarantee getting a copy by pre-ordering it now through Fourth Dimension Records or through The Legendary Pink Dots’ bandcamp.

2023 two Vienna dates

Edward Ka-Spel will perform a rare solo show at KLANG 30 in Vienna on June 9/10.  For the event, we will also have a new CD ready – Edward solo in Vienna in 1988!
