Chemical Playschool 25 on vinyl

Just finished listening to a test pressing of ‘Chemical Playschool 25’ and conclude it may just be the best sounding vinyl release in Pink Dotted history. A big thank you to Raymond & Peter who mastered it … that’s jaw-dropping! Hopefully the full blown pressing will happen soon. EK

Bandcamp Friday March 2026

Bandcamp Friday , the 6th Day of Spring, still looking for a light in the sky..
Two special releases on the menu today.

Randall and Elisa spent the last weeks preparing a beautiful CD-R release of ‘Don’t get Lost‘ by Orbit Service. This 5 year old work has been enhanced, expanded and dressed in a beautiful block printed cover.

You’ll find it here (LPD Bandcamp) and here (OS Bandcamp)

The second release of the day is my solo album, ‘A Monument to Wasted Tears‘ on double vinyl. A bonus 4th side has been added and it has been given a beautiful gatefold cover. It’s at the pressing plant now and will inevitably need time but it is inevitably very limited. I’m under no illusions that it will never break even, but I cannot deny the sheer excitement here in the kaspeslian household. Bonus cuts are added to the download too, so anyone who bought the digital or cd editions can simply re-download the album with no need to pay anything extra for the new material.

You’ll find this Monument here (LPD Bandcamp)… and here (EK Bandcamp)

A couple of interviews

Here is a recent chat between Dereck Higgins and Edward Ka-Spel.

Updates for February 2026

February 15
Final preparations now well underway for the double vinyl edition of “ A Monument to Wasted Tears“. There will be a bonus 4th side of material for this one. In the meantime, the cd edition is down to a handful of copies (a similar story with “Tease Seize Apply“). The aforementioned bonus tracks will simply be added to the existing download edition – watch this space! Also posted today are a couple of unearthed copies of the 90s reissue of “The Scriptures of Illumina” on Soleilmmoon.

Bandcamp Friday- February 2026

In these darker days, it’s easier to believe that the World out there is far more focused on disintegration than creation.
Never does this feel truer than on a grey day at the edge of London, with the Sun feeling considerably further away than a mere 93 million miles.
However it’s a special Friday for lots of us.

In fact , the first Bandcamp Friday of 2026, when that excellent American company waive their commission for all artists using their platform.
Three releases dominate the Dots’ Bandcamp page today.

As promised, a very small run of ‘Chemical Playschool 25’ is being issued on double vinyl which can be found here:

Meanwhile, Randall’s Orbit Service project have prepared a glorious CD-R release with a block printed cover. Find ‘What do you fear the most?’ right here:

Lastly, recent Hallowe’en and Xmas releases are gathered for ‘Festive 5’ – a homemade CD-R release here:
