Along with Edward Ka-Spel’s contribution, former Dot Michael Marshall’s track “Let The Song Begin” is also included in Proverbial 11 v.6, a various artist release to support Heidi Siegwart who has faced difficult health issues throughout her life.

Proverbial 11 v.6
I’d like to shine a torch on a special music collection where all proceeds will go to a good soul in need. It’s the 6th Chapter in the ‘Proverbial’ series and there are exclusive songs from Pink Dots past and present (including your humble narrator) plus close friends such as Orbit Service and Surreal Funfair. -EK
Tripping Louder Attitude
An excerpt from our website on 05/25/05:
On a “less savoury note,” Edward has asked that I pass along to friends and fans that for several months, he has been trying to get in touch with Silver Stars, for whom he contributed vocals to a track called “Saturn’s Rings.” Their CD Tripping Louder Attitude and their MCD Saturn’s Rings are both being promoted using Edward’s name as a selling point. In fact, on the main promo page for the releases, the band is even listed as Silver Stars featuring Edward Ka-Spel.
This is particularly offensive as despite several attempts by Edward to get in touch with this band, no one has responded to his e-mails, accounted to him in any way, or even provided him with promotional/complimentary copies of the release, though his name is obviously being used to sell the CDs.
Of course the choice is up to each individual fan, but at the present time, we are asking that people DO NOT BUY THESE RELEASES BY SILVER STAR (from anyone!) until they have accounted to or at least responded to Edward.

New release: Remember You Are An Actor by Sorry For Laughing
Sorry For Laughing is a project started by Gordon H. Whitlow in 1986. Recently, Gordon reactivated the project and changed it from a solo effort into a new supergroup that consists of himself, Edward Ka-Spel of The Legendary Pink Dots, and Martyn Bates of Eyeless In Gaza. Also contributing is Denver guitarist Janet Feder, The Dots’ former violinist Patrick Q.Wright and Biota’s Tom Katsimpalis.
Following up on See It Alone, this is the second release by Sorry For Laughing.
All pieces began from improvisations on vintage equipment by Gordon including an old pump organ, an autoharp and an accordion. These pieces were sent to the collaborators who put their own interpretations. Gordon then mixed the results…

At last “Prints Of Darkness” has made it to cd. A big thank you to the Klanggalerie label in Vienna in their noble mission to prove that this format is alive and well, sounding and looking rather wonderful.
