A message from Edward

The Pink Dots’ new album is entitled ‘So lonely in Heaven’ and is slated for release in mid- January on Metropolis Records. The European tour begins on 30 January and there are still openings for shows in the Netherlands and Switzerland- any tips will be gratefully received! Also in the pipeline is ‘Chemical Playschool Volumes 23 & 24’ on double vinyl and 2 x cd.Both releases are approaching completion.

Rare gig in Extrapool

October 13
Dynasti will play a concert at Extrapool. Dynasti is Edward Ka-Spel of The Legendary Pink Dots), Peter Johan Nÿland (of Norn, Trepanerungsritualen, O Saala Sakraal and much more), and Frans de Waard (Modelbau, Kapotte Muziek, and much more). Dynasti recorded a CD, Quantum Primitiv, on the Klang Galerie to wide acclaim. Marc from EXTRAPOOL inquired if we would be interested in playing a concert and, sure, why not? We’ll spend a few days before hand to come up with all new material. Maybe a one-off? We don’t know.
Tickets are for sale, and mind you, tickets are limited! (The other concerts in this series are also highly recommended!)

Notes

Maybe the best festivals are the small ones.
Cafe Oto in North East London can only hold 180 people but it was packed to the rafters for the Fourth Dimension Festival. Also on the bill was the truly legendary Alternative TV, Splintered and Steven Wilson’s Bass Communion collaborating with Modelbau (Frans de Waard). The atmosphere was glorious, the music varied and always uplifting, and ultimately it was a Spring night not to be forgotten. Fellow Pink Dot Randall Frazier joined me on stage while Raymond Steeg was at the mixing desk. Thanks to Richo, who organised; Alena, who drove; Ruth, who filmed the event and Elisa, who helped. A small CDr edition of this album is planned in the near future.

CD-R release:
A limited CD-R edition , designed, assembled, numbered and initialled by EK. Served up in a card cover.
