Cafe Desmet was a special oasis in hectic Amsterdam enjoyed by The Dots on a number of occasions in the early 2000s. Organised by Marylou, and recorded, then aired by the excellent Human Radio, performances would take place on weekday afternoons before a small but usually informed audience. Sometimes a stranger would drop by as can be just about heard in the fade-out of “Prisoners Of War” where an unwary soul concluded that he needed ear protection. This release captures one of these ceremonies ( on 15 July 2006) and is dedicated with love to Marylou.
