THE LEGENDARY PINK NEWSLETTER- SEPTEMBER 2015
Now is the Autumn of discontent. It’s hard to step outside the front door because of the constant driving rain. It’s been on and off for days now and I thank the Heavens above that I was not placed upon this earth as a sugar lump. Still, at least the weather keeps us busy at Chez Dots.
Lots of activity here with recent releases, and a stream of rather exciting new adventures to come. As I type, the final touches are being made to “Crash Velvet Apocalypse”- a marathon live double cdr documenting two live shows from 1990 and 1991. The release has emerged thanks to a discovery of a tray of cassettes in a cupboard at The Dots’ hq. More is to come.
Still, finishing touches are now being applied to the new Dots’ album, tentatively entitled “Pages of Aquarius” as well as the highly ambitious double cd, “Chemical Playschool Volumes 19 & 20”.
As for live work, there will be a rare solo show from EK at Sens in France on November 27, while the Dots are planning to hit the road next Spring in Europe, following up in North America a year from now. Continue reading September 2015 Newsletter

Terremoto: Live in Chile 2008
Recently released on Templo Sagital’s Bandcamp page, this is a live recording of Edward Ka-Spel & The Silverman (featuring Michel Leroy & Mc Abdullah) in Chile from November 2008.
There is also a recording, released earlier this year on Un Festin Sagital’s Bandcamp page, based on an improvised session from the same time period called A Ripple on the Richter Scale.

Greetings! The BLRR 15 year label birthday party continues. Forthcoming is a special label compilation “A Brained Hefty Yeti Fry” CD of 515 numbered copies. New tracks by: La STPO, The Legendary Pink Dots, Edward Ka-Spel, The Silverman, Seven That Spells, Stimulus, Freek Kinkelaar, Volcano the Bear, The Sevens Collective, Vas Deferens Organization, Earthmonkey, Pepe Wismeer, Un Festin Sagital, Armchair Migraine Journey, Rick Reed, Christus & Cosmonaughts, Orbit Service.
The first 40 are hand colorized by label owner chris. Each of the 40 will include several objects from the past 15 years from the BlRR archive such as: rare releases, test pressings, mis-pressings, posters, printer proofs, flyers, promo sheets, buttons, autographed inserts, press clippings, photos, rare promo versions, unused material for albums, unused remixes, one of a kind song by a label artist on CD-R, special download only compilation, and several other extra items included at the whim of Chris.
