Tour updates

4 February update:
The 17 February show in Budapest will now take place at Instant and NOT at Robot. The Dots are now playing at the Nappali Club, PECS, Hungary (tickets- https://tixa.hu/lpd_pecs)on 18 February and Fuga Club, BRATISLAVA, Slovakia on 19 February.  I will post links to the tour page as soon as I can.

I’ve uploaded a new poster to reflect these changes.

31 January update:
A new  date at the Fuga Club, Bratislava Slovakia on 19 February has been confirmed!

30 January update:
The venue for Budapest has been added (Fekete Zaj Fesztivál, Robot) and unfortunately the show in Ljubiljana has fallen through.

Some Pink Dotted activities:

It seems like a good moment to shine a light on Pink Dotted activities with the European Tour on the doorstep.

We had quite a few sad messages which lamented the fact that certain countries and cities are missing from the list. Admittedly London is tricky because of the curse that is Brexit but we ARE working on a possible show there in The Fall. If it happens we’ll do our best to combine with a show in Vilnius , a handful of dates in Poland, plus Copenhagen, Stockholm and quite possibly Helsinki.
Tips and pointers are very welcome if this small adventure is to happen.

Bless them, Bandcamp Friday has been revived and the first one (which is imminent) will be interesting but that’s as much information as I’m prepared to divulge right now.

A new project featuring myself , Frans De Waard and Peter Johan Nyland will be released shortly on Klanggalerie and it’s a little beauty. The combo goes by the name of ‘Dynasti’ and this first album is entitled ‘Quantum Primitiv’. New recordings are also underway with Sorry For Laughing.

Various vinyl releases are in the pipeline too including ‘ Faces In The Fire’ from Play It Again Sam – the label celebrates its 40th Anniversary with a reissue of its first ever release!
More to come….Meanwhile do pass the word on about the Tour coming up…it needs some help!

The Post Pandemic Tour Diary 2023

THE LEGENDARY PINK DOTS POST PANDEMIC TOUR DAY 43 ( I think)

Luton Airport at an unholy hour . I had to stay at an airport hotel to be able to be in time for the plane, but the promised 10 minute walk turned out to be twice as long and involved vaulting a fence with my bags. The first show is at Gagarin in Tel Aviv tomorrow and I regret listening to the news before the sun rose this morning. It’s a polarised planet and it seems half of the human population is hellbent on making it as ugly as possible. It’s up to the other half to counter this… with respect, sympathy and love.

All Flags Are False-lathe cut

A message from Johnny of Witch Cat Records:

Hey Friends,
For those wondering about the 2nd edition of the Edward Ka-Spel “All Flags Are False” lathe cut, I will start pre-orders for them this upcoming Bandcamp Friday on February 3rd. There will be a limited quantity available, and they will only be available to purchase through the month of February or until they sell out, whichever comes first. They’ll ship out either late March or early April. More details to come on the 3rd.

To receive a reminder, you can follow Witch Cat Records on Bandcamp.

On Bandcamp: Only Dreaming

The very first release by the Legendary Pink Dots in January 1981 was this 60 minute cassette, Only Dreaming. Since then, there were a few more very limited cassette reissues on the Jarmusic label in 1989, 1990 and 1995.  Many of these songs were also released as a CD-R on Ancient Daze by the Dots on Terminal Kaleidoscope.  Available for the first time since 1995, here is Only Dreaming on Bandcamp.
