The Comfort Inn at Clacton-on-Sea is the unlikely location for the creation of this newsletter. It’s July and summer arrived late in the UK, but as it’ll probably be here for just a few days, perhaps it is wise to make the most of it…. indeed by writing a newsletter in a hotel room….
Seagulls woke us at 5 am this morning. I recorded them and will have my revenge by setting my host of plug-ins on them after slowing them down and turning them backwards.
Still, on to Pink Dot related matters….
“Ghost Logik” is now imminent and we’re accepting pre-orders at last.
Live shows are also on the horizon in Stockholm and Moscow in October. Maybe there will be more. Plans for a month in USA are still there for next Spring.
As for new LPD material, we’re working on two albums right now – 13 songs so far and a fertile atmosphere.
Finally the great Pink Dotted REMASTER project is now well underway. Some titles are slated for CD reissue (with bonus material) while others will be available as download only (at least initially) via our Bandcamp page. You will also find plenty of exclusive material there…

Beta-Lactam Ring release this new EK salvo which lives up to it’s name in almost every possible format (even 8-track cartridge). However, pride of place goes to the vinyl edition with an astonishing handmade gimmix cover. The vinyl edition is hyper-limited and costs 45 euros. Danny has his own way with the synthesizer that frequently thrills you and certianly takes you out there. The site has been updated and visitors will find a section where Edward reveals the origins for many of his outpourings. There are not so many books left now.
