February 15
Final preparations now well underway for the double vinyl edition of “ A Monument to Wasted Tears“. There will be a bonus 4th side of material for this one. In the meantime, the cd edition is down to a handful of copies (a similar story with “Tease Seize Apply“). The aforementioned bonus tracks will simply be added to the existing download edition – watch this space! Also posted today are a couple of unearthed copies of the 90s reissue of “The Scriptures of Illumina” on Soleilmmoon.
Bandcamp Friday- February 2026
In these darker days, it’s easier to believe that the World out there is far more focused on disintegration than creation.
Never does this feel truer than on a grey day at the edge of London, with the Sun feeling considerably further away than a mere 93 million miles.
However it’s a special Friday for lots of us.
In fact , the first Bandcamp Friday of 2026, when that excellent American company waive their commission for all artists using their platform.
Three releases dominate the Dots’ Bandcamp page today.
As promised, a very small run of ‘Chemical Playschool 25’ is being issued on double vinyl which can be found here:
Meanwhile, Randall’s Orbit Service project have prepared a glorious CD-R release with a block printed cover. Find ‘What do you fear the most?’ right here:
Lastly, recent Hallowe’en and Xmas releases are gathered for ‘Festive 5’ – a homemade CD-R release here:
Updates for January 2026

New official Legendary Pink Dots and Edward Ka-Spel merch is up in the shop. Elisa is working hard to bring more! Worldwide shipping.
Sound Production is a restless science that can result in high art. Randall is a genuine wizard with the waveforms, and he taught me a lot. Today he launched his
Patreon page and I cannot recommend it enough! There’s serious magic in there!

Edward Ka-Spel Arlo/A Number – Preorder
This 7 inch lathe-cut record was originally released as a limited edition to coincide with the Edward Ka-Spel solo show in Denver, Colorado on November 1, 2025. Only 10 copies were made for the show.
This is a second edition, available for pre-order between January 29 and February 28. However many copies are ordered is how many will be made.
Lathe-cut records are a bit different from regular vinyl, as each one is cut in real time. They will play on any standard turntable, but you may need to add a bit of extra weight to your tonearm. If you’re using a Crosley or other suitcase-style player, placing a penny on top of the cartridge can help.
The covers are printed, cut, and folded by hand, so they may have a slightly handmade feel. That said, they look great, and I’m really happy with how they turned out.
Because each lathe-cut record is made one at a time, the cost to produce them is much higher than a standard pressed 7”. These will also take time to make, so please expect them to ship around May or June. If I’m able to get them out sooner, I will.

Three Official T-shirts are available
With a plethora of Pink Dots’ shirts on the internet but none left on our Bandcamp site, this action seems to be the perfect solution. Elisa has made a line of designs that can be found here: https://www.brokensceneshop.com/collections/the-legendary-pink-dots
They’re official!!!
Bandcamp Friday- December 2025
It’s the first Bandcamp Friday after the North American Tour so I guess it was always destined to be a busy one. After a torrent of requests we are making a second pressing of ‘Brighter Now’ on vinyl, but in Europe this time, while we’ll also be receiving a handful of copies of a tantalising edition of ‘Only Dreaming’ on wax.
Randall requested a posting of the two last Orbit Service albums on the Dots’ page, and they represent two proud and beautiful entries.
Add to that, there are the remains of the handmade cd packages
Chemical Playschool Volumes 23 & 24
Chemical Playschool Volumes 16 & 18
Come out from the Shadows
and ( wait for it…)
The Legendary Pink Dots Xmas Special 2025!
The Tear Garden’s Astral Elevator- now available
Calling Pink Dots’ friends in Europe… We paid for an extra bag to bring quite a few CDs/ vinyl back from the North American Tour. We do have a few of the new Tear Garden CDs in London and the Netherlands. If anybody wants a copy , please email me at qaspel(at)gmail(dot)com.
Those in North America can order the CD, LP or T-shirts on Brap’s Bandcamp page.
“Produced entirely by The Tear Garden themselves, Astral Elevator is a testament to the enduring creative partnership between Ka-Spel and Key. The album also features contributions from a stellar lineup of guests, including the late Dwayne Goettel, who provides a poignant and powerful presence. The sound is further enriched by the talents of Randall Frazier and Dre Robinson, and the entire experience was brought to its final form by the expert hands of Greg Reely on mixing and mastering.”
