Rolling Stone just published an article about the collaboration between, Amanda Palmer and Edward Ka-spel.

See it here.

A time of great intensity in the peculiar universe of The Legendary Pink Dots. So much happening that perhaps it is best to approach the scenario chronologically….
Event number 1 occurs on March 17 in Athens at Etor’s Tenebrae De Profundis II Festival which is being staged at the Gagarin 205 venue. A stunning event which also features long term Dots’ friends Nurse with Wound and Sol Invictus. Expect surprises.
Event Number 2 occurs on April 1 when the Dots travel to Lille for the “Musique au Musee” festival curated by Amikal Sonic at Les Gigottos Automates . Pierre Bastien is also playing at this festival!
In May Edward Ka-Spel embarks on a tour with Amanda Palmer and Patrick Q.Wright in support of their collaborative album, I Can Spin A Rainbow which will be released on cd and double vinyl by Cooking Vinyl in late Spring. It’s available for pre-order via Amanda’s Patreon page as of February 22nd and elsewhere (including our humble Bandcamp page) three days later. A unique 7” (The Hands EP) is also slated for release, while Amanda is also special guest on EK’s forthcoming solo album, High On Station Yellow Moon which is now under production by Soleilmoon Records. This will also be available on cd and limited vinyl.

Finally the new Tear Garden album is close to completion. A beauty too. There will be no rest in this interesting year.
Proverbial 11 v4 (for Heather King) was just released on February 3, 2017. It features new and previously unreleased music from Edward Ka-Spel, Dead Voices On Air, The Silverman, Orbit Service, Un Festín Sagital, The Dustbombers, Imaginary Fly, Ancient Inc., The Lights In The Sky Are The Stars, Kris Nelson, and will introduce The Stars Below (a brand new project from Anita Kuhn). Also returning are Mick Marshall, Four Dimensional Nightmare, and Musik aus Barmbek. We are honoured to have a few new artists added to the Proverbial 11 roster in Virgil Howe (Little Barrie, GENIAC, live drummer for Amorphous Androgynous), The Smoking POTS!, Black, and Halbes Vakuum.
All the artists have come together to help support our friend Heather King, who is struggling with the debilitating symptoms of Lyme Disease. Symptoms of Lyme disease include headaches, blurred vision, bone and joint pain, memory loss, confusion and difficulty concentrating to just name a few. Easily treatable if properly diagnosed early, if misdiagnosed for some time (as was the case for Heather), treatment of Lyme disease becomes very difficult and expensive, with access to the necessary antibiotics limited here in Canada.
I can’t say enough good things about the music you’ll discover on this latest volume in our Proverbial 11 series or about the cause that volume 4 has chosen. I hope that all my friends buy the album, theres just so much good…
First volume of a trilogy containing lost or rare EK tracks spanning the last 3 decades. This volume focusses on explorations originally only available on the long out-of-print “Melancholics Anonymous” collection plus vinyl excursions and “Sepia” from a download-only album from Brainwashed. This volume will be available on CDR early in 2017.
