It’s Bandcamp Friday just 15 days before The Legendary Pink Dots take the plane across the great pond for their 45th Anniversary Tour of North America.

Inevitably there are new releases for such an occasion and after a long delay, we’re happy to announce the release of the Cd ‘Portals in the Storm’ where we provide the soundtrack to a wonderful cartoon from artist Matt Howarth. Do note that European orders will be sent at the end of the tour as we’ll bring copies back with us.

Also posted for the first time in full on Dots’ Bandcamp page is ‘A Star too Far’ , Randall’s first musical collaboration with the Dots back in 2015. This is also available as a double cd, but initially just available on tour. A re-press for Europe is planned upon our return .

Released today…the second salvo from the Tear Garden!

Hi all.
Apologies from the admin for falling a bit behind on Edward’s announcements that he posts on Facebook or Bandcamp.  Here are some recent messages:

August 22- Tariffs
Truly these are strange times. It hasn’t been (understandably) so much in the news yet but it looks like it will soon be almost impossible to send a package from Europe to America. From August 29 yet another new situation is emerging where if packages arriving in the U.S do not comply exactly with the rather complicated new customs demands, the receiver could be be hit with an $80 to $200 fee. I’m no expert in these matters and I could be wrong here, but it’s ominous that several countries (Belgium,Denmark, Lithuania….) have already declared that postage to the States will be ‘temporarily suspended’ from Monday onwards. Of course it’s devastating for the small bands/artists/painters/musicians who rely upon the support of friends in America to simply survive. Seriously, the crap just never lets up….
Thankfully we’re crossing the pond in less than a month’s time so anyone who orders anything from the Dots will receive their package as we’ll carry them with us (within reason)on the plane and send from Denver. As for the future….. who knows….We’ll figure this out.

August 23- US Tour
With the Legendary Pink Dots’ North American Tour creeping ever closer, it feels like a timely moment for some unapologetic promotion- especially as tickets for some of the West Coast shows are disappearing fast! We’re also delighted to be taking a dear old Dots’ friend Dre on tour with us who will be handling the merc table!

Our earliest footsteps are being re-traced in a most spectacular way thanks to this small label in Germany. ‘ Only Dreaming‘ pressed on vinyl filled with liquid , anybody? Truly, the stuff of dreams…The music dates back 45 years, the format suggests a date far off in the dreamy future…

I am eternally grateful that mastermind edward ka-spel gave me
the permission to release this after he felt in love with my idea
for the artwork instantly.

An exciting Bandcamp Friday! Edward Ka-Spel’s new solo album “A Monument to Wasted Tears” is released today while pre-orders are also now underway for the latest Tear Garden album, “Astral Elevator“.

It’s been a challenging Summer. Daily life has been a little frenetic as boxes are steadily ticked in preparation for the forthcoming North American Tour. Even so, there has been time for creation as well and I’m happy to announce a new solo album entitled “A Monument to Wasted Tears”. Initial copies are currently being prepared as lovingly home made CDRs with 4 different front covers while a CD edition is slated for late September in time for the Tour. If funds allow for it, there will be vinyl too! Meanwhile the Monument can be accessed  on TLPD’s Bandcamp and Edward’s Bandcamp.
